Indians Invite A Pair Veterans To Major League Spring Training Camp

The Cleveland Indians have signed two veteran players and invited them to attend the club's Major League Spring Training camp.

On Thursday the team signed infielder Ryan Flaherty and catcher Dioner Navarro to minor league contracts at the veteran minimum.

Flaherty has played all four infield positions throughout seven seasons with the Orioles and Braves, while Navarro is a former All-Star who spent 13 seasons in the majors before a hiatus in 2017.

The Indians officially begin their 2019 Spring Training next week when pitchers and catchers report to Goodyear, Arizona on the 13th.
