PHOENIX, AZ--- To put it lightly, the Cavs did NOT play well Wednesday night, losing to the Suns 122-101, the game was over in the first half, seeing the Suns score 72 points before halftime. We would once again see Donovan Mitchell in the lineup, which meant for only the 25th time this year, we would see the Cavs true starting 5 with Garland, Mitchell, Strus, Mobley, and Allen.

The Suns were all over the Cavs right out of the gate, especially the dynamic duo of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, in the first half alone, Booker had 19 points making 3 of his 5 3 pointers attempted while Durant would have 17 points. The Suns as a whole were lights out from deep in the first half, making 12 of their 18 attempts, totaling 18 of 33 from beyond the arc. The Suns would also have 4 players in double figures in the first half, Devin Booker with 19, Kevin Durant with 17, and both Royce O'Neal and Bol Bol with 12 to help the Suns take a comfortable 72-47 lead into halftime. The Cavs would start and end the 3rd quarter on a good one, starting on a 17-3 run coming out of the locker room, just for the Suns to stretch the lead further, then closing the quarter on a 8-0 run, same thing, just for the Suns to stretch the lead once more, the Cavs would not get any closer then within 11 points. Devin Booker would finish with 40 points, making 5 of his 9 3 pointers attempted and 13 of his 25 shots total, while Durant would finish with 32 points, 7 assist, and 6 rebounds.

The Cavs will travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers Saturday afternoon at 3:30.
