Iconic "Flintstone House" Is Sold For $2.8 Million

The iconic "Flintstone House" in Hillsborough, California is off the market after selling for $2,800,000.  That's down from the original asking price of $4,200,000.

Realtors say the sale took nearly two years since the multi-domed home required a buyer who appreciates architecture and quirky design.  The three bedroom terra cotta looking abode is made with concrete that was spraypainted over wire frames that were shaped like the tops of weather balloons.  The new owner is said to have no plans to change the look of the over 2,700 square foot landmark.
